Products Description
Author: Daniel S. Krynicki
A textual analysis in St. Paul's Epistle to the Romans dealing primarily with the translators paraphrasing of the Greek words "ethnos" and "hellene" as "Gentile" which has been an important contributing factor to much of the confusion so prevalent in Christendom today.

The author's purpose for this analysis is an attempt to undo some of the damage modern translators of the Bible have caused by their practice of paraphrasing instead of translating. According to the author: "Modern scholars rather than confine themselves to actual translating are into the realm of interpretation and instruction with an abundance of paraphrasing. ... The educated linguists of our own era have no logical reasons to provide the world with translations of the Bible which lead readers away from the truth. The translators job is to translate not to interpret (which is what paraphrasing accomplishes). ... This essay is dedicated to the exposition of one example of paraphrasing which exemplifies the inherent dangers present when translators stray too far from literal interpretation."

Numerous long and painstaking hours of research and study by Mr. Krynicki resulted in his conclusion that the two paraphrases (parts of one example) this essay will concentrate on have prevented sound exegesis of many passages throughout the Bible and unfortunately occur in almost all translations.

With this verse by verse textual analysis of crucial passages in Romans he clearly demonstrates the flawed conclusions of the objections against Anglo-Israelism by prominent Christian scholars of our era.

The huge quantity of footnotes appearing on almost every page of this booklet provide a preponderence of evidence of Mr. Krynicki's careful and detailed study and research into his subject.
