Jack Tison: I am commenting on the preface that was printed concerning this book. It is wrong assuming that Enoch and Abraham were contemporaries, as Enoch was before the flood and Abraham after. The Book of Enoch [Laurence] should be a must read by any Christian truly concerned with making it to heaven. These Scriptures were quoted by many of the people before and during the time of Christ and beyond, because they were considered God ordained Scripture. Only after the Catholic [ante-Nicene so-called 'fathers'] was it tried to be destroyed for many reasons, one of which is their absorbed pagan rituals of graven images that God hates. The Catholics never were Christian, but known by other names at least 600 yrs. before Christ, dating back to Babylon, they were 'state religion' formed to keep peace between the many 'religions' absorbed into the different empires through time, until the Roman empire, which is first when they were called 'Catholic'. Enoch was detrimental to this, as well as the second of the Ten Commandments, among other scriptures.
